Transporté sans bouger. My name is Paolo. I play records and other instruments. Some know me as P-Love. You may have seen me on stage with the one they call Kid Koala. I use an Olympus E-P1, old-ass iPhone, or Blackberry Curve 9300 to capture the goings on around me. Recently became a father so that's mostly what's going on around me at the moment.

That’s Mrs P pointing out crab apples to a captive audience.
nybg:

Over 300 children visited the Adventure Garden this morning with their school classes. The staff, including many teen Intern Explainers as well as adult volunteers helped the young students to understand plant parts and plant life cycles through fun activities such as plant dissections, planting kidney beans, and creating observational drawings.

I don’t even know Quinn personally, but I did see this 1 of 1 hand-built bike one day locked up on East 7th St. when I visited my former employer. It’s even more stunning in person and I think I speak for everybody who’s ever had a bike stolen when I say there’s a special place in hell for bike thieves.
cycleangelo:

STOLEN BIKE ALERT: QUINN’S CUSTOM TRACKQuinn’s bike was stolen this weekend in Alphabet City on Avenue D. It’s literally one of a kind, as he did build it himself. Contact Quinn if you have/get any info. Re-blog away, Tumblrs!

Deadbeat.

Dear Tumblr readers (both of you):

Sorry I’ve been so bad at updating this thing. Truth is, I’ve got a lot of shit going on right now. All of it’s good. Some of it is amazing. Can’t say too much, but let’s just say come June I will have even less time to come back and tumbl, but much more to write/shoot about.

In the meantime, here’s a picture I found at my parents’ house. My sister and me, somewhere in Florida circa 1980.

En route to Mass MoCA for Kid Koala’s ‘Space Cadet’ show. Shot during a pee break right off the Taconic State Parkway in upstate New York. Borrowed a friend’s D90 and 10.5mm fisheye for two reasons:
-The performance space was a wide open space that the E-P1’s 17mm (really 34mm) prime would just not be able to capture; and
-As much as I love the E-P1, it kinda blows in most low light conditions. Not having a flash doesn’t help either.

Woke up with this in my head this morning.

Interviewer: “Is Ringo Starr the best drummer in the world?”
John Lennon: “He’s not even the best drummer in the Beatles.

Nikon x Porter Camera Strap

OMG WANT

I wonder if my E-P1 would get mad wearing a Nikon strap.

princeklassen:

Just caught this over at Hypebeast. Porter has done yet another collaboration, this time with Japanese optics company turned camera giant, Nikon.

These look pretty fresh, and are not as expensive as they could be. Gonna try and catch one of these here in Tokyo.

For those with something called the internet, you must learn.
